A graduate of the University of Calabar, Bassey has served with various major shipping and Oil & Gas companies, including P&O Nedlloyd, AP Moller Maersk, Conoil Plc, HUK Energy Limited, Stonebridge Holdings Limited – Oil & Maritime Services where he was in charge of all trading, logistics & chartering operations.
He is well vested with practical experience in oil trading and maritime operations with exceptional analytical and logistics skills. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of shipping (CIS) and has attended various management courses on HSE, Personal Development (LBS).
He is a holder of a Master’s degree in Maritime Transport and Logistics from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho (MTS). He is currently running a PhD programme in Maritime Transport in the same University.
